ABU GUIDELINES FOR TELEVISION ARCHIVINGPhilip Rogers of New Zealand reported recently (see FIAT Newsletter Feb 95) on ABU having plans to launch guidelines in the form of a booklet with the main purpose"to help small to medium-size television stations address the issues of what material to keep that they have created and broadcast and to ensure this material is accessible to future generations. Whilst the technical information focuses mainly on videotape formats, the basic principles of selection and information documentation apply to film as well." These guidelines by Philip Rogers, New Zealand, and Ross Sellars, Australia,
